Design Intern
A working apprenticeship, not a coffee run. You'll design real things for real clients with a senior designer reviewing your work daily.
What you'll do
- Support live client projects — production screens, not practice files
- Explore visual directions for brand and interface work
- Help maintain the design system and project documentation
- Present your work in internal reviews every week
What we're looking for
- A portfolio of any kind — student work, personal projects, redesigns
- Figtree-level care for detail (you noticed this site's typeface)
- Curiosity about how design and code meet
- Availability for at least 3 months
What you'll learn
- The full arc of a client project, from brief to launch
- Design critique — giving it, taking it, using it
- Working in a token-based design system from day one
What you'll work on
- Live client engagements with senior cover
- The studio's own brand and site experiments
How to apply
One email. Your portfolio or work samples (a link beats an attachment), a few lines on why 99px, and where you found us. No cover-letter theater — we read the work first.
